Cleveland can supply any size shipping containers for any use and with the largest stock levels, widest distribution network, fastest deliveries and a strong track record they get your containers to you faster and cheaper than anyone else no matter how many containers you need.
But Cleveland can do so much more. Like provide insulated, temperature-controlled environments, create comfortable site offices, canteens and changing rooms, or design cool pop-up cafés, hip high-street bars or chic retail boutiques.
Cleveland Containers operates in an unusual commodity market where the products they supply are identical to those of their competitors—same sizes, same materials, and often from the same overseas suppliers. So, the challenge was: how can we differentiate? The simple answer is through exceptional service—delivering products faster and at a lower cost than competitors, while innovating at every step.
This is where our proposition, “We Box Clever,” was born. To become the leader in the shipping container industry, Cleveland knew they had to innovate across all aspects of their operations and invest heavily in marketing, with their website at the top of the priority list.

Cleveland Values
When it came to bringing the Cleveland values to life, we saw this as a great opportunity to take a more playful approach with the brand, and so, Clever Clogs—a cheerful, animated box character—was born. In truth, the character was never officially given a name; however, this one was our favourite.
Cleveland Brand Extensions
In 2023, following our Cleveland Can brand campaign, they achieved a 58% market share in the UK. Building on that success, they launched Box+, aimed at the self-storage sector; Cleveland Modular, targeting industries that utilize temporary modular buildings; and Cleveland Hire, which provides cabins for the construction market.
